Queen Of Hearts Chocolate Tart

(for 2 people)

  • 1  Cooking spray
  • 1  tsp Flour
  • Paper
  • 1  Tb Flour
  • 1  tsp sugar
  • 1/3  Cup sugar
  • 1  tsp Cinnamon
  • 1  Egg separated
  • 1  Dash of salt
  • 3  Tb Cocoa Powder
  • 1  tsp butter
  • 3  Tb Prune puree
  • 2  Tb Water
  • pkts artificial sweetener (depending if you like it sweet or bittersweet)
  • 2  Tsp Cocoa Powder
  • 1  Tb Confectioners sugar
  • 2  Tb Fat-free half and half
  • 1/4  tsp Cinnamon
  1. Preheat oven to 325.
  2. Spray a small ramekin (heart shaped if possible) with cooking spray, place wax paper on bottom to fit, spray again with cooking spray and dust with 1 tsp flour.
  3. Mix together 1 Tb flour with 1 tsp sugar and set aside.
  4. Whip egg white with dash of salt till thick peaks form.
  5. In double boiler melt butter, 3 Tb cocoa powder, cinnamon, sugar, artificial sweetener, water and prune puree.
  6. Mix together chocolate mixture with egg yolk and then mix in the flour mixture.
  7. Fold in egg white.
  8. Place batter in ramekin and bake for 20 minutes.
  9. Let tart cool and invert on decorative dish to remove from pan, remove wax paper.
  10. Dust with 2 Tb cocoa powder and confectioner sugar. If your ramekin was not heart shaped then dust tart with cocoa powder and then place heart shaped stencil over tart and sprinkle confectionary sugar in the stencil to make a heart design.
  11. When ready to serve, pour the fat free half and half around sides of tart and garnish with fresh fruit if desired, sprinkle with Cinnamon and serve.

Additional Information

This easy to make tart can be also garnished with a raspberry sauce. Just use frozen raspberries and run through a blender or food processor. Strain to remove seeds, place in a squeeze bottle and drizzle on the plate for a pretty garnish.
