Bruce Roberts was a very private person and I was never invited to his home. I remember driving by his house and him coming out and waving to me.

Allie was a different story. I have to tell you about her unique home. When you walked up to the door she did not have grass in front of her house. She had gravel and 40 bowling balls. These balls were all different colors. I remember laughing to myself.

When I entered her home there were these moveable pieces of artwork that she designed. They were lacquered and pastel colors and I was mesmerized by them.

Allie had such haircuts over the years. I remember one of them. On one side of her head she had curly hair and the other side she shaved.

Years after the Reach album came out she called me and I invited her to my home. We sat on the couch in the living room and I held her hand. Sadly she’s passed away but her music lives on and on. Bruce is still alive and doing unbelievably.

I attended several fitness conventions. The convention was called IDEA and they were giving Jane an award. The producer of the award show asked me if I would get in a box with a bow on top and surprise Lady Jane. They pushed me out on stage and the lady in charge of the show said. “Ms Fonda we have a surprise for you then I popped out of the box. She was pleasantly surprised. Then I went to the mic and gave her many accolades.

During another convention Ms F invited me to have brunch with her family. She had a spread of food but I couldn’t eat a thing. I went back to my hotel and thought about how honored I was to meet her. Our paths have crossed many times.

I don’t want to say that I was her number one fan but I was a huge fan. When one of her films came out I went to see it right away .

Ms Jane put out quite a few videos and so did I. We weren’t competitors, we had different audiences. Ms Jane had original instrumental music that she and her cast worked out to. I decided to go a different route. I wanted to dance to Oldies…but goodies. Over the years I danced to over 80 songs.

At first I didn’t know how people would take my videos. I was silly and a bit different. I looked in the mirror one day and said to myself……what Sally Field said when she won the Oscar for Norma Rae. She said to all the celebrities sitting at round tables… “You like me…you really like me.”

To be continued…

Love,

Richard
