I do not understand Mother Nature There are so many fires…floods…tornados…and hurricanes. When I was younger, a hurricane hit the French Quarter in New Orleans. We all lay in the floor and kept very quiet. Some of the shingles on our roof fell off and you know what my father said…”look you can see the stars.” Many people lose everything that they have…their home and all their belongings. When the news sends drones to see the devastation I can hardly believe my eyes. Some people perish.
I don’t understand why people make fun of other religions. Believing in a religion is a very private matter. I am saying that I don’t understand all religions… but I respect them. I have visited churches, synagogues, and other places of worship. On tv I have seen people pray at mosques. I have seen people praying …and do you know what…I pray with them. Everyone has a different vision of God. When you see paintings of God, He is always almighty looking. He has a long beard and a robe looking up at the heavens. I do believe in heaven. I don’t know if I believe that there are pearly gates there. lol.
I don’t understand why some people get so angry within a few seconds. You could almost see the veins in their faces burst open. Then they want to fight. There are others who are so calm and peaceful. I am neither. lol. Very few things make me angry. Sometimes I get angry at myself because I made so many mistakes. But I believe forgiving myself is the answer.
I do not understand people stealing. Somebody is watching your house and when you go out they break your windows push in your doors and steal whatever they want. Money, jewelry, and clothes. They steal from stores big and small. All these stores have cameras. A mob comes in and takes what they want. They all have hoodies on. I saw one of these mobs of thieves steal as many purses in just a matter of seconds. Then there are little mom and pop jewelry store. They break the front window climb into the store take a hammer and break all of the showcases. You know what I say to these people? Get a job. It is not only men who do this…but women and teens.
I don’t understand why some people hear perfectly and others…not. In the 17th century, sign language was created as a visual language or method of communication. Who can forget the movie The Miracle Worker with Patty Duke and Ann Bancroft. As I have told you before I have taught classes for those who do not hear. At the end of class they raise both hands and shake them which means they are applauding.
I do not understand why people murder other people. I mean you may be upset with some one. But why take someone’s life. We have been raised watching people killing other people. It is on the news all the time. Some people kill their whole family. How can you kill a child, a wife, or husband? Some people go to school with a gun and kill other students. Can you imagine going to class and getting murdered. Then they interviewed the parents of the child that is no longer here …what are they supposed to say. Many of these individuals get away with it while others spend their lives in prison.
